CC1072 Clouds & Cherries on a Secret Sea
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: octoberbabe

I am your color challenge hostess this week, my very first time! I am SO excited and happy to be part of this awesome team. Please bear with me though, as I get the bugs worked out behind the scene.

I have chosen Secret Sea, Cloud Cover and Cherry Cobbler this week with a dessert of nautical theme. FYI, my definition of nautical is anything to do with the sea. So have some fun with this.

First I attached my two patterns of Cherry Cobbler DP to a mat of Secret Sea before attaching to my Cherry Cobbler card base. I then wrapped my twine around my horizontal piece of Secret Sea matted on WW and then attached to my card. I then cut two fishtail strips of DP, one Cloud Cover matted on same and Secret Sea matted on same and attached to my card. Last I stamped my image in Secret Sea on WW and matted on Cloud Cover that was die cut using the SB dies. I popped it up over all the pieces.

Please come and join us this week at we sail the seas. TFL!!

Fabulous nautical card. I like how you focused on the Cherry in the background. The papers are terrific. Creative idea for the vertical banners. Love the ship and how you matted it. Great card! Thanks for the awesome colors and the inspiration. Welcome to the CC hostess team.

Great job on your first time hosting! The page looks great! And this card! So beautiful! (Lots of exclamation points!) I love the way you combined the two DS papers, and especially love the vertical banners behind your focal image. And yes, we used the same stamp set; it's perfect for your dessert option!
