Stacy gave us a wonderful tutorial on doing background texture.

I do not do journals for my paintings so I did slim line cards in landscape.

Added texture on this one by doing layers of rocks. Kept it simple with no text.

I like the bit of water that has come over into the sand.

Your rocky coastline scene is absolutely breathtaking—the layered textures give such a strong sense of depth, and the ocean wash feels wonderfully natural. I love the minimalistic approach without a sentiment; it really lets the painting speak for itself. A beautifully atmospheric slimline card that captures the mood of the shore so well.
