Pam has us doing watercolor imprint in today's F4A challenge. I don't think I have done it before, but I love it! Super easy too.
I am also playing in Kim's Sketch Challenge for this week.
Yes, I know my watercolor imprint panel is crooked and that my girls aren't quite on the black bench properly. It is early, I didn't get much sleep, and now I have to run and pack for a quick trip. Even with its imperfections, I know the person who gets this will love it. She is in that post retirement and not addicted to card making stage of her life. We often talk about what her next steps need to be so she doesn't get stuck in the recliner.
Can't wait to see what you all come up with.

Nancy, What an encouraging card. Your background colors are amazing. Your stencil has created a wonderful effect on the background. Between the colors, sentiment and images, this card will truly encourage someone.

The watercolor imprint technique turned out beautifully—the textures and colors have such a dreamy, abstract quality that pairs so well with the vintage photo. I love the sentiment choice too; it feels uplifting and grounded at the same time. Even the slightly off-kilter elements add charm and personality—like a little visual nudge to keep dreaming despite life's bumps.
