 | | I took the phrase "Cutting a Rug" literally in this card to cheer Katherine. I started with the scissors, using silver distress stain first and then stamping in black. I used Inktense Pencils to color the rug. Coloring the flowers first and letting dry, the wash of yellow didn't blur or mess up the flower colors. Fussy cut all the images. Found the alcohol BG in my stash, stamped the music in grey, then found and added the sentiment. The scissor tip isn't glued down for extra dimension. I love visually playing on words. |
