This week's letter is the letter I. When I showed my card to my DD, she didn't see the I...understandably! My I's are for Inlaid Die Cut and Island Indigo ink.
I followed the SCS tutorial for creating an inlaid die cut scene: Inlaid Die Cuts Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers and had a chance to use up the last of my bubble paper that I made following this video: It is fun and I used SU re-inkers for my color medium.
It took me some thought to come up with this scene. I wanted to do a flower like in the tutorial, but also wanted to do something different!
My circle background is made from the bubble paper, to which I added raindrops. I heat embossed the sentiment.
This was fun to make. Thanks for looking!

Ooh, I just love your I card, Catherine. Thank you for the links as I am with Kathy on the bubble paper. So fun to have a polka dotted umbrella! Love your title too for your sweet card!
Very cool techniques for inlaid and bubble background. I will have to look at that tutorials. You did a great job! Even the umbrella is inlaid, which I didn't notice at first.

What a wonderful inlaid design this is Catherine. I love this rainy day scene! I figured out the Island Indigo ink and even though I saw the inlaid umbrella and clouds, I did not figure it out (sigh). I love the raindrops too! ~Karen.
