Another entry for the letter I and my second go round at the Inlaid die cut technique. After getting all the balloons in place - as well as the banner, I thought the white cs too bright so softly sponged Pumpkin Pie ink on the white...then decided to repeat stamp the confetti from Party Panda to add to the festive look.
The sentiment was supposed to be directly on the white cs but do you see the design of the happy stamp? Guess what I did...I stamped it upside down on the cs! This was after doing the inlay of the die cuts so I wasn't going to start over now! So, time to heat emboss the sentiment on coordinating cs. Added the balloon strings with the SU marker and called it done.
Thanks for looking!

I love this birthday card and it's even better in person! The stamped background is so fantastic, I really had to look hard to see if it was stamped or designer paper! You did such a good job! Great color choices too!

Quick thinking on your part, Catherine. It's so frustrating to be just about done when something goes wrong. I like the festive bg with the stamp and your sponging too. Cute inlaid balloons~

Beautifully done. I would never have know anything went wrong. Please do not look in my gallery and begin to count how many things are facing the wrong way. Funny when you don't even notice until someone finally points it out. Ugh. Love creativity.
