| | It's been over 4 months since I've made a card and I decided that the FS challenge is a good way to get back into stamping. I chose Julie's Make Merry card, using the same tree dies, but used leafing on mine and a smooshed watercolor BG. The BG was done with distress inks, peacock feathers and seedless preserves, on watercolor paper. The trees were cut from kraft cardstock and the leafing applied, (that's a loose term for the MESS I made, as I have leafing particles everywhere)! There must be a better way to get them stuck on what you want. I cut a frame from kraft, also, as a way to ground the trees. Here's Julie's pretty card that inspired me.

It feels good to be back to making cards! Thanks for looking.
