 | | I first stamped the image onto watercolor paper with Charcoal ink. I wish I knew the name of this stamp. It's an older one of the "House Mouse" line, but I can't find it online. :( If anyone knows, please share!
I colored the image with my Inktense pencils, using a damp paintbrush to pick up the color from the pencils and apply it to the paper.
I die cut a panel of blue cardstock with the scalloped rectangle from "Femme Frames." (This 2-die set is no longer available on its own, but is packaged in a bundle with a couple of other M.E. sets.) Before I adhered my image panel to that, I wrapped purple baker's twine around the top of my watercolor paper, and adhered the ends to the back side. I tied another piece of twine around the strings on the front, and tied it in a bow. I just find that a little less fussy than trying to tie the ends of the piece I wrap around the panel into a bow. I adhered my image panel to the die cut mat, and mounted that to a white card base. |
