 | | Society6 has soooo many beautiful prints! For this card I was inspired by THIS. I love kites & I love this all in one kites die!
I die cut it into the Recollections heavy wt c/s...although it says it's 110# it's way heavier than the other 110# c/s. I wanted to be able to pull up the swirls slightly w/o worrying about it bending or tearing. I had a watercolor bg I made ages ago w/ blues & greens & a little iridescent medium (very sparkly IRL) & I loved the colors but wasn't crazy about the overall look of it. So just using bits & pieces behind the kites was the perfect solution. I backed it w/ a very fine, smooth glitter c/s & let it show thru around the edges & under the kite tails. All that was left was to stamp the greeting & add a few sequins.
Thanks so much for looking. Closeups & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff |
