Vicki is our hostess this week and she has chosen: cherry cobbler, gold, and white, and for dessert: ornament
I created a bg using a smooshing with inka gold technique that I learned from Loll Thompson here (I used the technique where she used re-inkers (cherry cobbler) and the inka gold). After letting that panel dry I cut and mounted it to a card front, embossed and punched my ornaments, die cut my ornament string from gold foil cs, embossed the sentiment in gold, and assembled. Fun technique – thanks, Loll!

Maura, your cards are always a double delight for me--beautiful to look at and a new technique to learn. The background you achieved is stunning all on its own, and a lovely backdrop for your pretty ornaments!
