 | | This is a card I made for the 2014 Holiday Card Workshop at Online Card Classes. The emphasis of this session was one layer cards.
This actually is my practice piece, but I was so pleased with how it turned out I decided I would make into a finished card.
The rectangle was masked off with Post-it notes and completely sponged with HA Unicorn ink. I cut curved edges from more Post-its to mask the ground, and die cut the trees from Inkadinkado masking sheets. All the masks were put in place and the sky sponged in. The small hill mask was removed and shading added to the snow bank. Next the small tree mask was removed and the sky masked off with Post-its. After sponging it, I removed the mask for the larger tree and repeated the same process. All mask were removed from the image, leaving the edge masks in place, and a heavy misting of Shimmer Spritz was added. When it dried the edge masks were removed and the sentiment was stamped.
I die cut a snowflake from the lower right corner, attached the layer to a matching base and inlaid the snowflake back into the negative space after spritzing it.
As always, thanks for looking! |
