Made for the Hope You Can Cling To Challenges 2014 - Chicks Stick Together
We were asked to use chickens to represent friendship and sticking together. Given that show chickens are reared on the farm where I live, that I go out and use them for drawing studies, and I've made patchwork wall hangings and other crafty things to do with chickens I don't actually have any chicken images in my stampy stash. I turned to a punch art google search for ideas but couldn't find anything that I liked enough to do. But I was inspired by some cute patchwork chickens I'd seen years ago, to interpret them into punch art. Looking thru my paper stash to find the right background I came across this piece that looked like kraft corrugated board and thought they looked great together.
