I finished this card last night, but had to wait until today to get a good photo. After posting the first card yesterday and during Grandpa and Grandma day, I got this card made. It was a joy to make, as Grandpa and the DGS were playing in the other room, DGS was giggling like crazy, what a joyful sound.
Anyhow, I started going through all my vellum, I need to replenish my colored supply, but still have a good amount on hand. Several years ago, Canson made some beautiful metallic vellum, can you say hoard! Though this butterfly isn't done on that, but I did do a few of them on the pretty vellum.
The image is stamped with Versa Mark and embossed with silver ep. This butterfly is colored with my lavender Zig photo pen and fussy cut. It's mounted onto the embossed bg with dimensional adhesive. I colored the pearls, though they barely show, and call it finished.
One thing about this vellum compared to others, this one is fairly stiff, while the pretty Canson's are looser, either way, the butterflies wings do flutter.

Truly beautiful, Jennifer. The butterfly is exquisite with your subtle coloring and the highly embossed bg make a wonderful foil. ....and the pearls are the "cherry on top".

This may be a first for me ... don't think I've ever seen metallic vellum. I'd definitely flip for that and would hoard it for sure! Your card is astoundingly beautiful with that big vellum b'fly and the lovely pearl trail.

How beautiful Jennifer!!! I LOVE your lavender butterfly!!! The silver embossing is lovely!!! Your background is gorgeous!!! I LOVE all the embossed flowers and the added pearl centers!!! The butterfly trail is perfect too! I am picturing how amazing it must look when the wings flutter! LOVE it all!!!

Oh wow - this is simply beautiful! I'm glad I've made a little time to enjoy the vellum creations this morning - this is outstanding.
I remember that Canson vellum . Back in the day DH and I both worked for the company that imported and distributed their papers here, and I still have some samples of different papers hoarded away, though I work on using them . I loved the pastel papers!
