Doesn't this butterfly look like it just landed on my card to rest its wings for a minute? It won't fit in a standard envelope, but I LOVE how it turned out. I heat embossed the butterfly in black on vellum cardstock, colored the front side with markers and fussy cut it out. I added some burlap underneath for some added texture. It looked right at home outside on my sunny fence! LOL!

I'm so glad to see this butterfly done in vellum, it's beautiful! If you don't have one already, the envelope maker by WeRMemory Keepers is a good buy, you can make just about any size envelope so easily!
