 | | Here's my card for the third VSN challenge this weekend -- to make a card showing a nest with eggs. Since I don't have any nest stamps -- I went in search of a digital image and found this one. Actually the original image doesn't have the penguins on a nest, so I drew in the sticks (after doing a little bit of research and finding out that some penguins do have nests built out of twigs or rocks -- so I'm not sure my image is totally biologically correct. In other words, don't use it to teach your kids about penguins nesting habits!). The sentiment is computer generated as well. I learned when coloring this image that it isn't easy to color something black because you lose all the lines -- I used a little bit of gray to highlight the lines and that seemed to work OK. |
