This is a Valentine for my DH - I left it for him at his office with some coffee and treats.
I stamped the lamp shade on the glossy white cardstock and then cut out the two sides and the bottom with a craft knife (my eyes are still bugging out!). I punched holes at the bottom of the shade for the jump rings. I made the heart charms from the Good Times stamped on polyshrink paper. I added them to the jump rings - my attempt at fringe for the lamp shade. I embossed the lamp base on basic black with clear embossing powder. I cut it out and attached it to the card with stampin' dimensionals. The polka-dot paper is left over tissue paper adhered to card stock using the hot card technique.
Overall, this card took some patience - handling the tiny jump rings, avoiding the heat gun during the polyshrink process, the scoring with the craft knife...well, I guess it's all for love. Luckily, I was rewarded with some fabulous flowers!
