 | | IÂ’d never thought to use ivory for my image panel when doing one of these scenes but now thanks to ColletteÂ’s challenge of using NO WHITE cardstock, I now have a good reason to use this pile of ivory cardstock that isnÂ’t large enough for a card base; it was scrap from a print shop.
The image panel was masked off with torn edged paper and the color was sponged on using Ranger distress inks. The images were stamped with Memento – Tuxedo Black. The shadows were added with an almost dry black marker. The panel and borders are mounted with foam tape.
When stamping on the trees in the distance I inked up the very tip of the large image you see and another one about the same size, then masked off the panel at the bottom of the tree and stamped. A stamp positioner comes in handy for this step. I did the same with the grass images between the two landscape greens.
The nailheads were attached with AleeneÂ’s Paper Glaze.
The triangle accent is ¾” and ½” punched squares glued together and cut corner to corner; Aleene’s tacky glue was used to attach to the card.
