This is my card for WT277 which was to make a card to celebrate July 4th without using Red or Blue or any shades thereof. It was a very big challenge for me. It needed some red somewhere.
My card is a GOLD STAR in honor of all the soldiers past and present whose bravery has kept our cities and countrysides free under the protection or the flag.
Image is digital from my Print Shop Program. I cut out the star twice and popped it up - the top one in gold. For the sentiment I googled some Freedom Quotes and printed them on the computer. Edges are inked and distressed. tfl

A very striking card. It has been interesting seeing the many ways this challenge was interpreted by the artist.

Stunning! Love the image of the town with the flag. The star in gold just pops off this page and that adorable ribbon treatment rocks this! You are a very talented card maker , and creative... nice use of the pc on this one.
