This is my card for WT277 which was to make a card to celebrate July 4th without using Red or Blue or any shades thereof. It was a very big challenge for me. It needed some red somewhere.
My card is a GOLD STAR in honor of all the soldiers past and present whose bravery has kept our cities and countrysides free under the protection or the flag.
Image is digital from my Print Shop Program. I cut out the star twice and popped it up - the top one in gold. For the sentiment I googled some Freedom Quotes and printed them on the computer. Edges are inked and distressed. tfl

Carol, I love this. Fabulous use of PS - I didn't even think of that!!! This most difficult of challenges (I think) has some of the BEST results! Your card is no exception. This is an awesome way to honor those who defend our freedom and make this the great country that it is. Your pride shows!
