This is my card for the Technique Lovers Challenge for today. We were to use anything other than stamps, punches or premade flowers and make a flower for our card. I really had fun with this one.
When I couldn't find my crepe paper which I think I threw out a couple months ago and became frustrated with ribbon flowers, I started looking around and these seashell pieces that I picked up for this very purpose magically appeared. My house is like that. (Smile)
I used a black first layer and SU Naturals Ivory. I inked the edges and put on the shell pieces. Butterfly is an earring. Flower center is ribbon with pearls. And I don't think this would go through the mail.
The lady is Stamp Camp stamped on Basic Grey, and the music is all Night Media Jazz Border. Oh I put on some pink smudges just because I liked them. Thanks for looking.

Now that's a unique flower! I doubt we'll be seeing any more like it. Great idea and a great card. I do understand your comment about things magically appearing in your house. My house is kinda like that too. I never know what kinds of useful stuff I'm going to find in boxes. LOL!

you amaze me girl! Those shells rock as a flower... and to use the butterfly earing, what a great idea. Look for a box-elope template and you can send anything chunky, they work awesome! the pink smudges add just the right touch of girly-girly!
