this is my card for todays inspiration challenge.
stef challenged us to make a card inspired by our home state.
this was so fun and she even gave us a web site to visit to get info about our state.
Mine is Pennsylvania and our state bird is the ruffled grouse.
Our forefathers gave this bird the name pheasant.
I didnt have any pheasant stamps but I did have some su rub-ons from the autumn harvest collection. This pheasant was in there.
My sentiment is also a rub-on from that same set.
For my layout, I used the sketch provided by the odbd blog. it was perfect to show my bird. more info here

terrific card, Isn't it great when you can still find a way to make what you want by digging into our stash of goodies, love the rub on and the layout, TFS

What a great card!!! I love the colors and the papers that you used. It's very classy looking. You did an awesome job with that border punch - I can't do that right at all. I must take lessons from someone. :>)

Your card really caught my eye in the gallery with these vivid colors and that lovely layout! I also learned something about PA! :-)
