Another offering for the Verve Challenge for July, I liked this sketch and decided to try to keep the flowers that extended from the middle panel. The twist I chose was Poppin Pastels, which I achieved by applying brown (2 shades) chalk to some images by Kelly Panacci Stamps. I stamped the sentiment on acetate, to give a double effect to the circle element and added a couple of scored lines and some pearls to the bottom to balance it out.

I really like the image you used for the strip. And your poppin pastels are muted, but elegant! I had to go buy some chalks to be able to attempt this, and so it isn't on my VivaLaVerve challenge, but will be on an up coming card... so check it out in a couple days!
