This is my fifth time trying to upload this card, it went up the first time and then I got an email back saying it had been deleted for an unknown reason....the funny thing is...I am not happy with this card at all!! Sistahs I need your help. I have done a few cards for this challenge...and this is THEE one card I am NOT happy with...
...it all started off okay, saw it in my mind...the image is from my friend Hannah (aka bubblefrog) the paper from another friend Melinda (aka Melinda80) and the ribbon from a RAK from sweet Peggy. It all started off good and the theory was good - but what happened?!?! I always find the clean lined cards hard as I favour an eclectic style...maybe that is why I tend to do inking and torn corners (which I love).....it is always harder to keep within the lines of a challenge, but that is good for me - isn't it!!? Maybe it is one of those ones that look better if you come away and have another look afterwards - different perspective perhaps...awww, but who am I kidding...I doubt it!
Please help me here and let me know what you think...be honest....I can handle it. This is part of collection of cards I am making for my Mum for Christmas...and I wanna be happy with it!!!!
EDIT - do you think it is the scalloped circle that has thrown it off...made it too something?!?!? I DUNNO - help me!!!! I need the help of the 'Divine Sistahood of the Stamping Sistah's!!!

This is just a hoot, Linda! Love that you were able to pull togethers a few RAK gifts to make one really sweet card. I always love this image. Great humor; great fun card.

Maybe it's you! LOL I'm not walking down that street again honey...I just love this card, it is different from what you usually do, that may be the only reason you are not fine with it. But believe me, I'm more than fine with it, I'm over the top thrilled and it is very pretty, the pink is fine, the corners are you and the scalloped circle is awesome. So please go to bed and come back tomorrow. If not, trust us, we know it's great. LOL

I agree with Peggy, I love it and I think you might be hyperfocused on it. Perhaps its lack of shabbiness is throwing you off, but trust me when i say it is very pretty! Thanks for my beautiful RAK by the way, whcih I am posting to my gallery momentarily! Hugs my friend!

love the cute image, Linda! And while I agree with Peg and NancyRuth, I think it could be because it is too flat or matte. I love the concept of the buckle belt and your photo corners, but I think there needs to be more of a connection to the three panels. Just my HO! HO, HO!!!!! Hugs,
editing to add, I have ones that live on my stampin spot...not quite right, but not totally wrong either!!!

Okay, me critiquing you is like RoseAnn Barr telling Martha Stewart how to decorate! I don't think so! I do like the concept of asking for a critique though. I have asked and most people are too chicken to help.
I like this card. I like the torn corners and the polka-dot ribbon. I don't think the scalloped circle has thrown it off. Perhaps the circle sets the third panel apart, which is not bad! Perhaps it's hard to do something not your usual style.
