What a great idea for a challenge, I have never used an envelope on a card before...so it was definitely the way to go for me, always love to try something new. This card also fits in the Sketch Challenge as well!
I had small envelopes but they had to be cut down to the right size...then I inked it and added the cat, which is from the RAK from sweet Peggy (and friends) as is the divine DP (note that it is blue...and we all know whose favourite colour that is!!!) He was coming out of a gift box, so seemed the obvious choice for this, I cut him out and tucked the gift box part of him into the envelope. The DP has been inked and layered on dark red textured card.
I ran some chiffon ribbon along some slightly thicker ribbon and used it through the die cut faux hardware.....then inked the tree in white and cut it out, 3Ding it for definition........so there you have it, my challenge card! I hope you enjoy it...oh and by the way, I used dimensionals on the envelope flap and then again on the cat, to make it really stand out - did you notice?!?!? Thanks for looking and for taking the time to comment, I really wnjoy reading them and you are so encouraging!

Linda, this is just so precious. Love your envelope on the card rather than for the card. Love that image, too. Just a really wonderful card. Hope things are atleast status quo!
