Covered Bridge Gone Missing!
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: Mothermark

This is my card for our Monday CCEE challenge. This week is the week that we chose a fellow SCSer with a catchy SCS name and make a card to send them. This month that person was jstarbright (Joni)

This is my story!

1. The requirements?

A bird - check.
A star - check.
Patterned paper - check.
Buttons and Brads - Just a hoax!
A covered bridge - for extra credit and a prize.

2. My card had a covered bridge on it. It was uploaded for a very short time before the covered bridge went missing, was stolen!
3. I suspect a fellow CCEE girl. You know, if my card doesn't have one, no card is gonna have one type of deal.
4. Or maybe Dawn did it. She assigned the challenge and announced a prize. She probably bought a really cool prize and then decided to keep it for herself and stole my covered bridge to avoid a confrontation (Snort!)
5. I could have been Stamp Owl or Cindy H although they would have had to come from Canada and Austrailia which is pretty far away!
6. Charlene just had surgery on her hand and probably would not be able to move that fast, Deb hasn't uploaded her card yet so she is not a suspect, Cammie is probably writing up instructions for a card of hers that has been published and that leaves Tosh. I honestly don't think Tosh is onery enough to do it although she pretends to be.
7. Process of elimination.....

Dawn, gimme back my covered bridge and my prize (the real one!!) Better yet, you can send the covered bridge to Joni with your card and the prize to me!!

Joni.....this card is for you. I will mail it without the bridge, please let me know if Dawn comes through!!!

What is CCEE?? I know using initials makes things easier for the poster but very complicated for those of us who don't know the lingo! I do think this card is cute! Did you just cut triangles out of the rectangular card to get the star effect?? This is one to case (if I can figure out how!).

What? No sewing?!?! Hee!

This is so stunningly beautiful, Cindy! I love the beautiful scene you created on this awesome star-shaped card! I think it was Dawn who stole your covered bridge, too. She probably needed it for her llamas.

(I made a promise not to buzz anyone this week....I feel the buzzer demon trying to come out, but I'm not gonna do it! Nope! No way, no how!)

I didn't make no promise not to buzz anyone this week ... sooooooooooo buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! Where are the brads & button ... you of all people should remember to add a button after all you made us put 18 on a card once remember so surely you can handle one bwahahahahahahahaha! You gotta get glasses ... if you missed that you needed brads and a button!!!!!!!

Oh and Dawn is innocent ... she didn't steal your covered bridge ... Dawn wouldn't do that. My bet is it was Gert ... go ask her what she did she is the trouble maker after all!!!!

Well besides all that your card is just so cute ... love the shape (btw that was another challenge a few weeks back hehe; the bird and the DP.)

Oh and btw doesn't count to put the brads/buttons in an envelope!

oh how I HATE to use the BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZER (snort)... NO brads?
NO buttons?

I love the scene though and that creative star! and as for the covered bridge...it sure would be one cool obstacle for our performance class!

your card is fabulous........so innovative, beautifully colored and designed........BUTT, no brads, buttons, or bridges......sounds to me like you have a 'B' allergy and that's why you couldn't use them....after all you have a medical excuse.......after you get your allergy shot you can add the 'b's' to the card.....oh....I can hear that 'b' allergy now.....it is a buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzing away........lol

I love your star shaped card--very creative even if you get the BIG OLE BUZZER on this challenge.

Oh my goodness Cindy ! How am I suppossed to gaze adoringly at your beautiful star card when you have me laughing in stitches, you girls are a hoot !!!!
Thank You so much for honoring me ( and my SCS name ) with your challenge. A covered bridge would make a great shelter for llamas......I'm just saying....lol

personally girls, i think all the covered bridge hoopla is a ruse to take attention away from the fact there are no brads or buttons on the card of the formerly notorious buzzer queen. however, since the card is so beautiful and also clever in it's star design, i have decided not to report it to the challenge police. in return, i expect similar understanding in the event that i fail to follow instructions at any time. ;)
