Here's how you make the faux metal:
1 - Begin with a piece of thin cardboard (like you get with SU forms). Cut it to your desired size.
2 - Ink it up with VersaMark ink, & pour Sterling Silver EP on it (you could also use other metallic EP's). Heat. Let cool.
3 - Repeat step 2 two more times.
4 - The 3rd time you heat the EP, you will want to ink up a stamp with VersaMark (to keep it from sticking in the EP) & stamp it into the hot melted EP. Press down good & hard. You may need to rock it just slightly to get a good image all the way to the outside.
5 - Let it cool & rub black Staz-On ink on it to age it.
