Here is my addition for the challenge. A birthday card for my husband. I always have a hard time making one for him...maybe because he sees so many of the cards I make!
I haven't played along with this challenge in a long time. Thanks for stepping in Trudee. I will be keeping Julia and her mom in preayer.
here is mine, Artful Butterflies

I uswed the honeysuckle BG that I like a lot but have much trouble using. I will have to do another search and see if more examples are in the gallery.
Seaside Friend is my first attempt using colored pencils and gamsol. Be kind please...........

So far these are my two favorites I've done with my background stamps. If I can finish up my son's invites later today, I will work on a new one!
I LOVE background stamps! Glowing Blossom
Finally got to stamp today!! Better late than never I guess. I decided to use my new Delight in Life for this challenge - I think I'm really gonna like this set!!
Delightful Backgrounds
This may be a little overdone, but I wanted to see how many BG stamps I could use and still achieve something reassonably pretty. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Here's mine: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers. I love background stamps and was glad to see this as the challenge. Thanks Trudee, hope your Mom is doing better Julia.
Thank you Trudee for helping Julia. I am so sorry to hear Julia's mom is in the hospital again. She sure has my prayers and good wishes. I think my WT card should be for Julia's mom......I have her address from when she was sick before. Thanks again, Nancy
I struggled with this...not because it was a hard challenge, but because I had a card in my head that I wanted to create. Well, I tried off and on all day and I couldn't make my idea work--but I could do this one.

Here's my take on today's challenge. The only stamping is w/the Linen background stamp and a wheel - which I consider a background tool. Hope you like it.
