Happy Thursday everyone! Carla here as this week's Ways to Use It hostess, with Rescue Me!
I'm pretty sure that the majority of you have a card or two hiding away because you're just not quite happy with the results. Time to rescue those poor cards and give them a bit of a makeover. Remove a little of this this, add a bit of that and Voila, we have a winner!
A little music to put you in the right mood!
Don't forget to show us your before picture! Here are some options.
~If your card is already in your gallery, include the link in your post.
~Upload both cards to this gallery, WT650.
~Use software that allows you to display both cards in one picture.
When you've finished your creation, upload your card with the keywordWT650 and then come back and share a link here - that makes it easy for people to find your card. It's especially appreciated by the hostesses!!
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Here's a link to the WT650 gallery. Spread a little love around and leave comments for your fellow crafters!
Below are some marvelous samples from Lisa, Sabrina and Toni. Thank you ladies for the inspiration!
Dug out this Halloween card with some dc pumpkins, and decided to improve it with a fussy cut witch's hat, attached with a mini clothespin. Also added a stamped witch and black cat image from my stash. Finished with a purple dotted dc background behind my witch's brew label. Here's Witch's Brew and Witch's Brew 2

Duh!! Why didn't I think of combining both photos in one picture!!! This has been such a long week.
Here's my card:WT650 Rescued Serendipity
And here's my before:
Fan club members can see the original in my gallery here: MIM0814 Less Disorderly. The remake falls nicely somewhere in between the minimalism of the less version which was too CAS for me( (though I did mail it out) and the more is more version.
Really loved this challenge Carla. I had this card in mind after I gave it away. Thankfully my wonderful MIL brought her box of cards over and I found the card and LOVE how I changed it.
Great challenge, Carla. If most of us are honest, we've all made a "dog" now and then......mine usually end up in the circular file. : ) I did select a card from my gallery which I never really liked and gave it a major facelift. Thanks.
had fun revisiting this Riley wash day scene- adding more bright colors in my background, and a mini "clothes drying line" with 2 small shirts. Here's WT650 and CC401 Comes Out In The Wash cards- original and Improved!
