Here is my challenge. The first link is the actual 2 page spread and the second link is the actual page where I used the ribbon and put the memorabilia on it. The page includes the button we got when we entered the park. The two items in the bottom right hand corner are our tickets. Our parking pass is down in the pocket. The photo was our souvenir photo we got while we were there. It was a fun time, but it was extremely cold.

Okay. Here it is. I know it isn't as cute as everyone elses. And then am I supposed to have 2 pages? Anyway. This is a trip I took when I was senior in highschool........ 10 years ago. I can' t find or get at my more recent pictures. I have never done scrapbooking before. So, I guess it is good to start with pictures that are not that sentimental.
And yes I am picking the big stone head's nose. We had fun in highschool.
I finally selected the pics, and kicked out my Marker Club ;)
One of them might log on at home and play but the other two aren't ready :(
I'm gonna set this aside and see what Renee has cooked up, and then I'll be back at it!
Ok this challenge is hard for me because DH and I have never been able to take our vacation at the same time. We work nights and have very few day trips. I have pics with me and DD on day trips or vacation and DH and DD on day trips but we have one family day at the local festival and another was going to Nanny's on Christmas Day. I'm finishing the local festival page but it won't count because it was already started. I may do the Christmas layout for the challenge later but it is a stretch - unless I can use them in another challenge.

Use whatever you've got Taryn!! A day trip with just DD is perfect!! There is no rule that says the whole family has to be there! Just a trip anywhere, with anyone!!

Oooh thanks! That gets me out of storing that big ole program anyway...they make them HUGE and then you have to figure out what to do with it after you pay those big bucks!

Well, it took me nearly as long to scan and upload my layouts as it did to put them together. Actually, they all went together pretty quick since I had already gotten my paper and embellishments gathered together for a crop that I was SUPPOSED to go to, but didn't make it. They are in the 8.5X11 category.
That was a blast!

phew, after a couple interruptions by DGD I got it. But noticed the second picture is crooked in the scan, grrrrrr... oh well. need to go glue it better
Man, this process is a bugger for a newby to VSBN...I uploaded my layouts but didn't get the right keyword in. Does anyone know how to go in and change that once you've entered it?

Yes, just click "edit photo" just below the details of your page. Then fix whatever you need to fix, and click submit again!

OK, I started late, but did get one layout done!! I could find pictures and no brochures, then brochures and no pictures (where did all of our Disney pictures go??? Probably to Never NeverLand!). So, I settled on our day outing to Busch Gardens with my FIL.
I also figured out how to put two 12x12's together into one file!! Woo! Hoo! At least I learned something today!

Here is my layout for challenge #1. My DS wouldn't let me cut up his artwork, so I did another vacation layout. For ribbon, I used hemp to hold the brochure in place, but it can be easily removed to look at.

Well, I finally got it uploaded *whew* I think I used up most of my two hours trying to get NitNat to take a nap and get out of my hair!!!:twisted: hee hee
I have enough pictures to do three pages, so I decided to wait and see if there will be another challenge I can use to scrap the rest as a DPS....
anyway, here is Outdoor Adventures!
Here is mine. Our Girl Scout troop just got home a week ago from our long planned trip to Savannah, Georgia. Just had to scrap those wonderful ladies and I loved using the paper I bought at the Girl Scout store while there. Thanks for a great challenge, Kimmie.
