It's 5.30 am here, I've just rolled outta bed and checked out the first challenge of the day while I had a cuppa. I've not made one of these cards before, so this'll be good.
A bit early in the morning to be measuring things though, don't cha think??;) I'll give it my best shot. I'm so glad I won a Scor-Pal at a previous VSN. Very handy!
First challenge of the day! Here is my card. Thanks for hosting this challenge. It was my first time making this type of card. It was a challenge, but I had fun.

My card for this challenge is posted here. I had never made one of these free standing pop-up cards, so I took some time to review the video and make a practice (scrap) card so that I could complete the real thing within the 45-minute time limit. I hope that wasn't going against any of the rules.
Vanessa, I really enjoyed making this, but I left it for last because I was so tired! I figured it would take more than 45 minutes, and I was right! I left it for today when I could concentrate more. A second one will take no time at all......it was easy. But then, isn't that true of all techniques??
Thanks for hostessing in the VSN. I had a BLAST!! This is my final challenge - I've done them ALL! YAY!!!

That's exactly what I did too, so if you broke the rules so did I LOL I hadn't made one either and then changed my sample to an oval and had to rethink the slit - I just had to make it wider and long to fit the widest part of the oval in, but I didn't think about that before I stuck it all together D'oh!!
