Default Peter needs a cottontail

I'm making Easter cards and need help with a tail for the bunny stamp. I've seen people use tiny cotton balls. Where do you find those, or can you make your own using a regular sized cotton ball! I'd appreciate any help you can give me. The stamp is the bunny from Stampin Up's Hello Spring. The bunny is cute even without the cotton tail, but with the addition of the cotton it would just be super sweet!

You can find them online. Search for small pom poms. I think the last ones I bought from Oriental Trading. The smallest ones I have are chalk blending pom poms and I think they were from Pebbles.

If you have a Michaels or Hobby Lobby, you can get a package of pompoms there. They have several sizes so you have plenty of options.

You probably won't find them in the paper crafting section at the stores........ask someone or look in the doll making area........that's where both our local JoAnns and Michaels has theirs.

I've seen pom poms in the craft department at Walmart, also.

That is a tiny bunny. I think most pom poms would me much too big.
You might try rolling a piece of cotton ball into the right size.
Or maybe use some white Fun Flock all over the bunny for dimension and texture.

Edited to add ... you might even check the fabric department of JoAnn's to see if there are teeny tiny fuzzy balls on any of the lace trim. I think I've seen something like that. You'll have to clip the little fuzz balls off their thread to use.

What a great place this is! Now I have several things to try! Like Melissa59 said, it is a tiny bunny. I realized that after writing my question. I just might check out lace in JoAnn's. Thanks again for trying to help me out. SCS does rock!

This is really hard to see, but maybe it will work:

I'd try cutting off the very end of a q-tip and gluing that on.

My big Michael's store had tiny white pom poms in the craft section. I think they are a touch less than 1/4" across.

At Hobby Lobby they have some "Crystal Stickers" Glitter dome. They look like snow balls but I have used them for bunny tails and they are easy since they are stickers. The top of the package is blue and you get a bunch in a pack.
