Hi Amber!! Good to see you!! Glad you got a Cricut - some of my friends got them and are doing AMAZING things with it. Have fun creating!

they have these online at www.joann.com BUT currently they are out of stock - just for the heck of it I tried the 50% off code on a cricut add on, and it took the 50% off.

I am concerned about the costs down the line, buying the cartridges, etc, although ACMoore has them, so that's a good way to go, but still $50 for a cartridge, I guess not much less than if I was using Quickutz, right?
I got mine a couple weeks ago and absolutely love it! I keep finding coupons to get more cartridges.

My justification for the cartridges is that you are able to resize the
letters/shapes and with Quickutz, Sizzix, etc... you can't. It's quick to change between cartridges too. I have it sitting directly behind me so when I want something I can turn around hit "cut" and turn back to continue to work on my project (but it doesn't take long at all to cut).

Keep an eye on the prices of the replacement blades and mats. Michaels is listed at $9.99 for each while if you see them in online stores (or even ebay) they can be up around $20-$30 for the same thing.

I just got a Cricut too and want to use my Michael's coupons to buy more cartridges.

Which ones do you like?
