Epic 6 Grey Flex pads compatable

I recentely bought the Genius Magnetic Cutting system seen here Amazon.com: We R Memory Keepers Genius Ultimate Magnetic Platform
and use it in my Cuttlebug. I want to have an extra cutting pad A but have search everywhere and only the B pads are available. I did find on line the Epic 6 Grey flex cutting pad and was curious if I could use this as a replacement for the Genius A pad. Has anyone tried this? I know I am totally in love with the Genius cutting platform. Those flexable pads work so much better than the hard plastic ones that come with the Cuttlebug and Big Shot. I really want to have extras in case something happens to my original set. Hope someone out there can help. TIA

I would assume that you could use this pad just fine. It appears very similar to the AccuQuilt Go! pad that is used to cut fabrics for quilting. I've been using the 6" x 12" one with my Big Shot for a couple of years now and love it! It's especially helpful for "finicky" dies. I would link to it for you, but my work computer doesn't allow that. I did find that it was slightly thinner than the regular plates, so I do need to shim it, but it's no big deal at all...
