Default clear glaze pens

I thought i saw someone here that used another medium to do the same thing as the glaze pens, but can't find it now.
I would like to make some of the parts of my card look glossy and shiny, but don't want to use embossing powders.
If you know of something other than the glaze pen, please let me know.
I will order the pen later but not until after Christmas if i can help it.
Thank you (TIA)

Ranger Glossy Accents will add more dimension as well as glossiness and shine. They also will require more time to dry completely.

That being said, I love both the Glaze Pens and the Glossy Accents. Crackle Accents, Matte Accents, and Sepia Accents are way cool too.
