I used some tonight and it was really nice... a light yellow color that probably never would have POPPED if it was a dye ink... I'm using CTMH acrylic stamps and it was hard to clean off. I have to buy another scrubber for my pigment inks... ??? I should probably research that.

Also... at $9 for 6 colors (in the cat's eye Queue format) that is a lot of colors for a little investment. That is the appeal to me!

I just happened upon this thread at the same time I happened upon this link. If you are still interested in chalk inks, here's some advice.

I like the Colorbox chalk inks, both cat's eye and full size over the Versamagic chalk ink. I've gotten better results with the Colorbox and some of them are quite old. I agree that Versamagic has great colors, the reason why I bought them but for me Colorbox works best.

Walmart has starting carrying a line of Studio G products, like Michaels used to have.

They have a selection of chalk and pigment inks for only $1 each. I picked up quite a few colors and like them a lot.

They also have cardstock packs with 6 sheets of pattern paper for only $1. Not a big selection, but if you can use it, it's a great buy. I just recently picked up a cute Valentine pack.
