Question A-2 envelopes

Can anyone tell me how the Gina K envelopes compare with the PTI envelopes. I need to get some more envelopes and I've heard you all rave about Gina K cardstock. Thought I might get an order to try some of her cardstock with the envelopes. I'd appreciate any information. TIA

Yes, I'd like to know, too. I was looking at them yesterday, but I didn't see how many envelopes you got for the $5.95 or $6.95--whichever it is. Does anyone know the quantity?

I know the cardstock is fabulous, but I'm curious about Gina's envelopes, too. Somebody out there must have some info for us!

Have you posted in the Gina K member forum? At least about the quantity?

I can't answer regarding a comparison because I only use Gina K. Designs, go figure.

But, here is what I can tell you about our envelopes. We took a LOT of time choosing the perfect envelopes to add to the Gina K. Designs collection.

One of the things that bothered me with envelopes that I had purchased in the past was they smoothness. Although ultra smooth envelopes seemed like a great idea to me, I always smeared them as I wrote the address on them. It seemed like it took longer for the ink to dry and it always resulted in smearing.

Also, whenever I made a card that contained a brad or button, the ultra smooth envelopes would tear, usually somewhere along the way to the recipient.

So, in finding the perfect envelope, we wanted to make sure ours were a little thicker, had a little more tooth to them for faster ink drying and less chance of a puncture wound.

The envelopes come in a reusable clear box and there are 25 to a pack. They come in our Pure white and Ivory.

You will not be disappointed. This was a very well thought out addition to our line and we are very proud of the quality of our envelopes.

Hope that helps.

Thank you Gina for the reply. I have been disappointed in some of the envelopes that I have purchased (in stores) not PTI because they seem to be so "skimpy"--very difficult to get a little thicker card into them. I just may have to try out some of your envelopes along with your card stock.
