Question Stamping on Tiles.....

I am doing my first Stamp Camp in December and one of the stations will be making Tile Coasters. I have never done this before and have seen a TON of different opinions on this. My main question is this....if your stamped image is a solid one (I'm was planning on using Solemn Stillness) should you use white stazon and then use some pastels (chalk) or should I use a green craft pad? I'm not sure which would be the best also if baking them takes a while should I bake them outside of the stamp camp and then deliver them to the customers? Or does it work out time wise???? Hope this wasn't confusing...not quite sure sometimes how to verbalize my questions.....:???:

Thanks in advance for all your advice!

Jenn

Jenn,

Why don't you do the tiles as your first project of the stamp camp. Then you can bake them and cool them down before the customers go home.

If you don't want to seal the tiles, I suggest using the green craft ink. If you use the white craft ink and pastels, you will have to seal the tiles. Then they aren't absorbent anymore.
