Could you please explain the process on stamping tiles? I'm thinking of making some for family for Christmas and wanted to get started on them. I know you have to wipe them with a damp towel before you begin. Can you use any ink? How much sealer do you use and can you use just any clear acrylic sealer? Any special tips or instructions you could share would be appreciated!

I was told to use Staz On ink (Stampin' Up) You cannot use a dye based ink apparently (so I was told). As far as sealing and whatnot, I have no idea as I have yet to attempt to make any. Rest assured I will track this thread and hopefully I will learn more too!
I did email a request to SCS to get Tile Stamping in the 'resources' earlier today as well.
Good Luck
I'm curious to know if you can use watercolor crayons to color the tumbled marble tiles. Also, do you seal tumbled marble if you color it? I thought it absorbed the color, but I've never done it. Must the tiles be baked? I, too, will be tracking this thread!
You want to use either StazOn (Tsukineko) or some other type of multi-surface ink. Stamp your image and then heat set (325 degree oven for 25 minutes) before coloring your image.
You can use markers or other dye based inks to color - they can be heat set again if you color your images with these products and no further sealing will be needed. If you use chalks or other types of colorants you will need to spray the tiles with a matte finish acrylic sealer when done. Be sure to spray from a distance of at least 12 inches - if the spray is too close it can make the StazOn bleed.
Hope this is helpful! I made sets of these for Christmas gifts last year - they were a big hit!
