Default Question on candles

I was wondering what to use when coloring in an image on the tissue paper before putting it onto the candle. I have only made them with 2 step stamping. Has anyone experiemented to see what works best and doesn't run on the thin tissue paper?

Thumbs up Candle

I've only made 1 candle so far (just to see if it actually works), but it turned out great.

I used the set "Fresh Flowers". You can look it up on ebay to see a picture of the set if you don't know what it looks like. It's a 2 step set. I did the stem in Green Galore and the flower head in one of the pinks. I also did a few dragonflies and butterflies in black and used the watercolor pencils to color them in and then used the blender pen. When I stamped, I folded the tissue paper in half, then in half again. It does bleed onto the other layers, but doesn't affect the top layer. (It just confuses you when you're trying to color it in) ;-) I thought for sure the tissue paper would tear when coloring the image in, but it didn't. Also, don't over blend, it makes the black smear into the color. Give it a try and good luck.

I love to do candles! I just color mine with my markers. They look beautiful. People can't believe I did it with stamps.

My daughter and I did them for a christmas gift and we used her markers and they worked great but don't color back and forth do it more like dots because as it absorbs the color does spread a little bit.
Also you can run it threw your printer and put that image on your candle very neat.
