I had a few requests to share the directions for the paper pins that I posted yesterday so here they are. There are several different methods but the one I use works great for me! I will try to number the steps for ya....
1. Stamp your image 4 times on a white cardstock.
2. Color only one of the images.
3. Cut out each of the images but give some room on the sides to trim down later.
4. Glue (I use crystal effects) 2 pieces together with the colored image on top and continue to glue until all pieces are glued together and feel thick.
5. Once glue dries (dries really quick w/ cr. effects) take your scissors and trim around the main image to get the look that you want.
6. Push image into Versamark or embossing pad and add clear embossing powder, heat, and repeat 2-3 times so you have 3-4 coats. If you have ultra thick ep then it takes less.
7. Let it cool and add a pin onto the back.
It's pretty simple just a little tedious at times. I know there are a lot of samples that are much more intricate but I just started so the squares work really well for me! I used the Simple Shapes outline square for the cool cat. It gives you a nice little box to work in and the rest of them are from the Festive Four set.
Thank you for the directions. They are too cute - I think I need to CASE the little Halloween pin - I love that pumpkin! He's too cute with his witchy hat!
Well, I'm sure you could use them for push pins but I made mine into ones to pin onto your shirt. I have also made a few magnets too and of course the keychain. For the keychain I just embossed both sides (punch the hole before you emboss). With the magnet the directions are exactly the same except glue a magnet to the back instead of a pin!

I just stamp it 4 times so I know what size piece I need to glue underneath. Does that make sense? I stamp it several times to make sure that the piece is going to be big enough to glue under the stamped and colored one. You really don't HAVE to do it with the square-ish stamps but on any more intricate ones it's a good idea.

You could make these dimensional by adding a top layer of just the inside image cut away from the rest. Here is a link to some I made a long time ago: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
If I remember right, they were 3 pieces of cardstock thick for the bottom layer and 2 pieces thick for the top layer. I also added some wire works and beads.
