Suen
I decided to back track and found that you had no response to your question. Maybe I can help.
Heated pearls is:
glossy cardstock
cheap school glue (like Elmer's)
Pearl Ex or powdered pearls
Scrap apaper to protect work surface
Pour a glob of glue on the c/s, use a large soft stipple brush and spread it all over the c/s.
Take a regular drinking straw and cut in thirds diagonally (gives you 3 pieces).
Use the straw to sprinkle PE/PP on the glue. Use 1-3 colors. Carefully using the same stipple brush work the PE/PP into the glue making sure all the PE/PP is wet with glue. A nice pattern with 1 color is a swirl. When you are happy with your design, use your heat tool and heat set the glue. It will start to bubble up. Do not overheat. Makes a very pretty background or a focal point. If using more than 1 color PE/PP be careful mixing that you don't get 'mud'.
HTH and sorry it took so long. If I can help any more letme know.
