I just viewed the beautiful card done in copper colors and used the Heated Pearls technique...could someone please explain this to me...

I have all of the Pearl Ex. colors....

Thanks in advance.

Here's my way of doing it....

I usually make a sheet at a time. Pick a color of cardstock and two or three coordinating pearl ex colors. I try to use contrasting colors so the swirls stand out better.....

Spread white elmer's glue all over the cardstock to get an even layer of white....don't spread it so thin that you can see through it, but don't do it too thick.

Sprinkle some pearl ex randomly across the sheet...do both colors.

I use a plastic knife and swirl around the pearl ex in the glue.

Use your embossing gun and heat up the glue to make it bubble, this gives you the fun texture.

I then let it dry for 24 hours before I use it.

Have fun!!

I will! I think that was my card you saw

I put about a half dollar size amount of elmers glue on US white cardstock and some pearl ex with it too. Just scooped out a little bit. Then I sued a paintbrush and mixed them and spread on the paper and heated it with a heat tool until I got the effect I wanted. It took a couple of tries, but i got it!

HTH!
