Did I do something wrong? I put the glue directly on the paper and moved it around with the stipple brush, then I tried to stipple on the PE ~ had to use a couple different brushes because they got gummed up. Then I heated the paper and it warped really bad. Did I put too much glue? Can someone help? The affect is great, but I just think I did something wrong.
I'll tell you how I have done the heated pearls method and I had very good results. I used both glossy and matte paper, First I sprinkled pearl ex (one color or 2 or 3) on the paper in about a 4x4 area. I then drizzle some glue and carefully (not to mix up colors if I am using more than one) smear it all around with my fingers. A brush never touched the paper. I did use the brush to sprinlke the pearl ex on in the first place.
Slowly heat with heat gun or just let air dry, but that can take overnight and produces a little different effect. Surprisingly there is only a small diiference between the glossy paper and the matte. Hope this helps! Ann
