I'm signed up for a swap and I need a technique starting with H...other than heat embossing. I don't know that one exists, so I thought this was the place to find out. If not, I'll go with heat embossing!
I check my index and these are my "H" listings:
Hari -E
Heat Embossing
Heat Transfer (Image Transfer)
Heated Pearls
Hidden Message Card
Hidden Slider Card
Hocus Pocus Card (a.k.a. Color Changing Card, Magic Card, Magic Color Changing Card.)
Hot Card
...if you were to use a solid stamp with versamark, emboss it with clear detail EP, then use your inks or chalks to rub a circular area around the embossed design you could call it the "Halo" technique!
I still need I, U and X filled!!! Any ideas for these letters???

Okay, I'm intrigued.......what is Intaglio.....never heard of that one.
Intaglio means "a design produced in relief." Stampers latched on to this some years back and adapted it to shrink plastic impressed with a rubber stamp. You can find directions on the Lucky Squirrel site: http://www.luckysquirrel.com/info_geninstructions
Thanks for all the ideas so far!!! You all are great!!!

Underglazing is a technique developed by Mary Jo McGraw. It has become popular by a host of other names since she introduced it in one of her books. It's the one where you mix Crystal Lacquer (or Diamond Glaze, or Clear Glue, or Whatever) with re-inkers and swirl them around on a sheet of cold laminate. Then you lay a crumpled piece of tissue over the mess and gently smooth it down. When dry you adhere this to the back of a stamped piece of acetate.
There is a variation of this technique in the resouce area of this site titled Acetate & Tissue. Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
