I couldn't access the template on SU website because I am not a demo. And I am definitely not good at freehand art. I did copy one of the cards that used the flip flop and pasted it into PowerPoint slide (you can use any word processing program, too) that I had set paper size to the same dimensions of the card I was working on. I made the copied picture cover the slide and printed it out. THEN... I cut out just the flip flop and traced around it onto cardstock. Viola... after several steps, I had a template.
A WAY easy way to do 'em, any size you want, is to use an oval punch or cutting template, then "hollow out" the arch manually with scissors!
I just saw this trick on another website, altho they didn't bother to hollow out the arch part so they kinda looked more like ovals than they did flip flops, but hey, it's the trick that counts, eh?
Given how lazy I am with tracing, then cutting, this idea works for me! heh, heh, heh!
