You can get the pattern on the SU! site in the Pattern Library under cards

Do you have to be a demonstator to access the template? :?: I live in Scotland so sadly i can't sign up to be a demonstrator.
Thanks

I am a demo...but i find it much easier to free hand it.

flip flop template

I couldn't access the template on SU website because I am not a demo. And I am definitely not good at freehand art. I did copy one of the cards that used the flip flop and pasted it into PowerPoint slide (you can use any word processing program, too) that I had set paper size to the same dimensions of the card I was working on. I made the copied picture cover the slide and printed it out. THEN... I cut out just the flip flop and traced around it onto cardstock. Viola... after several steps, I had a template.

Good problem solving! I don't keep patterns for the cards I make, because I rarely make the same card twice, so that's exactly what I tell people to do when they ask me for templates of my designs. :)

Stamper's Sampler magazine just did a challenge with flip flops. The cards were in the latest issue. Here is a link to their template.

How about buying a children's flip flop and tracing? You could get any size you want that way.

A WAY easy way to do 'em, any size you want, is to use an oval punch or cutting template, then "hollow out" the arch manually with scissors!

I just saw this trick on another website, altho they didn't bother to hollow out the arch part so they kinda looked more like ovals than they did flip flops, but hey, it's the trick that counts, eh?

Given how lazy I am with tracing, then cutting, this idea works for me! heh, heh, heh!
