Wow, Olivia, both techniques are great! I would have never tried the glue stick. I simply assumed it would all melt away and there would be a globby mess left. TFS!!
May God bless, Sandi

Hi everyone.
I'm glad you all liked the tutorials, I hope to do a couple more in the near future. Oldierbest, I actually came up with the brass stencil technique while attempting to find a way to use up some not-so-sticky glue-sticks. I never used any of my brass stencils before I came up with this technique.
Also, I would love to see how everyone uses these techniques, if you want to post links to galleries/blogs/picture-trails etc. (or PM me) that would be great.
Thanks to everyone who posted replies!
Olivia

TFS!! I've often wondered about embossing with glue...I wasn't sure whether it would bubble up or not. Glad you had the guts to try it (and then share with the rest of us chickens...or, at least, this chicken!!)
Michelle, thanks! Once I discovered that so long as it was wet you could emboss with it (disclaimer: no kerosene or other highly flammable substances please;) ), I just took off. : ) I've used melted wax and UTEE, water, gel-medium, white glue, acrylic paint, and (of course) the glue sticks.
Patricia, cool idea! Keep on adapting it, and have fun. : )
