Default Cuttlebug Embossing Question

Is there a way to emboss (seamlessly) a panel that's bigger than the 4 1/4" x 5.5" ? Or maybe, are there certain embossing folder patterns that lend themselves easier to that? I'd like to emboss 5x7 backgrounds and I was just wondering if there were any tricks? TIA!!

I have this same question. There must be a way. I believe I saw it done on this blog, but just searched and couldn't find it. Check it out. This is one of my absolute favorite SCS bloggers. "Stampin Inspirations" Maria Bell is the blogger. She actually operates 3 different blogs...don't know how how she does it.

Default cuttlebug embossing

I have used these to emboss larger card, it is possible some of the patterns have a repeat down one side of the folder that you can match up though I used the big shot to do this with as it allowed me to turn the folder round don't know if this helps at all.

Sorry to hijack, but does anyone know the recipe for the CB embossing folders in the Wizard?

Thanks for asking this question. Never crossed my mind before. I just did a couple of 5x7 pieces. I just put one end of the cardstock into the folder, ran it through and did the other end.

The daisies turn out almost perfect. The swirls have sort of a "seam" showing down the middle, which I would just cover with ribbon or a stripe of paper. The birthday one has a part of a word in the center that looks like "ippy." But with a big birthday cake image on top, no one will ever see it.
I'm pretty sure the folders with the little dots would work great.

Don't know where to look for this. But I would suggest that you post a new thread in the Tools and Products forum. Give it a title like Cuttlebug folders in the Wizard? and you will catch the eye of lots of people who own a Wizard.

Just got myself a new Wizard and wondered if I could emboss with the Cuttlebug Folders too - you can!- just put the folder with card inside between the two large white mats - perfect result! HTH
