WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY
THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING TEAPARTY
AND CHALLENGE #126
YAH, IT'S RED, JED!
BUT IT'S NOT THAT KINDA HAT, MATT!
WHAT'S YOUR JOB, BOB?
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion!
This is my story!
1. Who'd a thunk! By simply associating a specific and very memorable item in a specific and very memorable color, a group of ladies can achieve world wide fame! Make a secret pact to never be seen out in public as a group without that specific and very memorable item and you can rule the world!! Like I said, who'd a thunk! Put a red hat on your head, maybe add a purple plume and whaa laaa, instant recognition and fame! That's what we need!
2. Okay, so I have an idear! We need something to be identified by! I know what just popped into your head!! Oh no! We gotta start wearing black and white polka dotted everything! Well, if that was our specific and very memorable item of identification, that would leave less black and white polka dotted stuff for me! Duh, I'm no dummy ya know!!! No, we need something else! And sometimes to identify how to be identified you just need to identify some professionals to identify how you should be identified! But how do you identify what professionals to hire to identify your identity? You identify and hire some professionals to identify the identity of the very best identity professionals available to identify your identity by identifying a very memorable and specific item to identify that identity. In addition, some other options should be identified in case the original items of identity are not immediately identifiable! Okay, I have identified that I am way confused so I have identified an old standby, Google. Simply type in *This is hard, red hats!*
3. Meet Matt and Jed, turns out they are all about protecting the head! The have developed and marketed the very best red hard hats available in the construction industry! Darn it! I shoulda identified the potential problem in hiring through the internet! Well, they are really nice guys and I think we can make this thing work since they drove all this way! We just need to get it though their hard heads under those hard hats (red), what it is we've hired them to do! Shouldn't be too hard, right? Identify a way for us to identify ourselves, like the Red Hat Ladies did! Get it? How was I supposed to know that they invented awesome red hard hats because they each have been hit one too many times on the head by red steal beams, like 42,000 times between the two of them!! How was I supposed to know that they are *visual* kinda guys, that they no longer have the brain power to work stuff through in their heads!! Yah, its red, Jed! But, its not that kinda hat, Matt!
4. What's your job, Bob? Bob is support personnel. He wears a yellow hard hat (not RED!) to identify his position in Matt and Jed's operation! Because Matt and Jed are visual people now, when they see Bob's yellow hard hat, it reminds them that he's not the boss. Only, the bosses getta wear red like Matt and Jed! Told ya they been hit in the head!! Before they can identify our specific and very memorable item, we gotta explain (visually) to Matt and Jed what we're talking about! Bring RED HATS, Ladies!!! We must show the power of RED to Matt and Jed. Just imagine yourself in a tea parlor having tea with the Red Hat Ladies and bring that! Red hats, purple plumes, fancy red and purple dresses, business suits, jewelry, scarfs, shoes and purses. And you can set the table and decorate the room too! Bring red and purple floral wall paper, window coverings, artwork for the walls. Bring red and purple tea sets, the best silver, lacey and feminine table cloths and napkins. And the most visual part of all, bring a HAT to show Matt and make it RED just for Jed! Then maybe Bob, can do his job and together they can identify what it is we hired them for! I sorta can't remember what that was, maybe you all can remember! A little help here?
If you bring a red hard hat (or yellow!) you have to install a new back door to come through! And don't identify your inability to identify the tools needed for the installation! And don't identify your inability to identify the exact location of the back door install! I am just identifying some additional requirements that have been identified!
Teapot Tuesday Destination Station #126
This week's destination is Cedar City, Utah! I knew I recognized that wonderful smell! Ooh! Smells good! The recipient of our cards this week is the mother of fellow SCSer/Teapotter, Jennifer
(mother's daughter). With an SCS screen name like that, you know their relationship is a close and wonderful thing. In honor of a Mother's Daughter, we are bringing some support and love through card making to Joyce in Cedar City, Utah!
Joyce is also a cardmaker and fellow SCSer
(jjai). She has been battling cancer for 13 years. On November 10th, at age 76, Joyce had surgery that lasted an unbelievable 15 hours. Although this surgery was necessary to battle her cancer, the result of it has been life changing for Joyce. She has been left with side effects similar to those of a stroke including impaired speech and a diet of soft and pureed foods. Joyce's daughters have been honored to care for their mother thoughout her struggles with cancer.
Joyce is a Red Hat Lady! She loves gardening, country music and Bunco and of course, card making and Splitcoasting! Have you ever met a card maker who ventured on to Splitcoast and didn't end up addicted in some way? Snort!
Put your red hats on and lets make a card for Joyce!

Post #166 of the The Teapot Tuesday Destination Station thread, should you decide to send your challenge card to Joyce. Please remember that just because you participate in a Teapot Tuesday challenge that is combined with a card drive request, it does not mean that you are REQUIRED to send your cards. It is strictly voluntary.
Here is
