Hi Teapotters! This is my card for today's Teapot Tuesday challenge. Here's my red hat (can you see the hat band?) I bet I am going to start a trend, everyone is going to want purple butterflies on their red hats. If you have no idea what I am talking about, see this post. MMTPT126 ~ YAH, IT'S RED, JED! BUT IT'S NOT THAT KINDA HAT, MATT! by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
I also did this for today's Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge, using pearls. I think I used more pearls on this card than I ever have before!
The wonderful sentiment is from the Flourishes set "Child's Play" and the tone-on-tone background stamp is Damask Background (also from Flourishes).
TFL!

Yes, I just bet the next time we see a red hatter there will be beautiful purple butterflies attached. Like the way you think (I didn't have a hat either on my card lol.)

Great card and an imaginative way into the party. Until I remembered my lady in a hat I was thinking I'd just be bringing along stuff to trim other peoples hats too. Lots of millinery stuff for trimmings is great .

Rut roh! Now the teapotters are gonna have ta worry about their red hats flying off their heads under butterfly power! Giggle! Oh no big deal, we can always hire some butterfly trainers!
Ooh....what an awesome card! I am loving this one Trina! You did good and way to combine challenges. This is one cool layout! Personally, I think butterflies would be a wonderful addition to the Red Hat Ladies list of acceptable accessories! This card rocks!

Butterflies are a favorite of mine, so yes, you may be starting a new trend! Good for you! This is lovely, the dark rich tones of red and purple, with the pearls is quite elegant!
